Fun, budget-friendly holiday crafts with Snow Globe Maker
Here’s a fun way to create custom holiday crafts with Snow Globe Maker Winter Edition and your iPhone or iPod touch. My kids and I made place cards for our holiday table and gift tags for our presents. You could use the same steps to create scrapbook decorations, ornaments, and more.
It’s this easy:
1. Start the Snow Globe Maker app, choose the art combination you want, and personalize the label. For example, Katherine chose the bunny and polar bear for her place card.
2. When you create a globe you like, save it to your photos. Tap once to see the menu, click the middle share icon, and choose Save Photo. For the place cards, we saved one zoomed globe image and one un-zoomed.
3. Make a page of globes in your favorite word, presentation or graphics app (we used Keynote). We put our two place card images end-to-end and flipped the top one.
4. Print your page, then cut out your tags and cards. We folded the place cards and glued the middles–one side shows the zoomed image, and the other side shows the un-zoomed image. For the gift tags, we left the back blank and punched a hole for ribbon. The finished product looks pretty cute, and we had fun making them together.
